วันนี้เรารวบรวมมาให้ครบกับกฎแกรมม่าสำคัญทั้ง 8 ข้อ บอกเลยว่าไม่รู้ไม่ได้แล้ว เพราะถ้าจำกฎเหล่านี้ได้รับรองว่าจะคิดประโยคภาษาอังกฤษได้เร็วขึ้น แถมพูดแล้วดูเป๊ะเหมือนมือโปรอีกต่างหาก!
1. การใช้ I / me / myself
- I (ฉัน) ใช้เป็นประธานของประโยค เช่น I ask him about the homework last week.
- me (ฉัน) ใช้เป็นกรรมของประโยค เช่น I'm glad you saved me the trouble.
- myself (ด้วยตัวเอง) ใช้เมื่อต้องการบอกว่าเราทำบางสิ่งด้วยตัวเอง เช่น I'm going to make myself a sandwich and get back to work.
2. การใช้ it’s / its
- it’s ย่อมาจาก “it is” เช่น It’s a beautiful place.
- its (ของมัน) ใช้เพื่อแสดงความเป็นเจ้าของ เช่น He could hear its footsteps.
3. การใช้ you're / your
- you're ย่อมาจาก “you are” เช่น You’re so beautiful.
- your (ของคุณ) ใช้เพื่อแสดงความเป็นเจ้าของ เช่น I want to be a part of your life.
4. การใช้ there / their / they’re
- there (ที่นั่น) ใช้เพื่อระบุตำแหน่งสถานที่ เช่น He had been there when she needed him.
- their (ของพวกเขาเหล่านั้น) ใช้เพื่อแสดงความเป็นเจ้าของ เช่น Two children were on their way to school.
- they’re ย่อมาจาก “they are” เช่น They’re lying.
5. การใช้ should / must / have to
- should (ควรจะ) ใช้บอกเพื่อแนะนำ เช่น It should be ready now.
- must (ต้อง) ใช้บอกเชิงบังคับ เช่น He must have changed clothes during the night.
- have to (จำเป็นต้อง) มักใช้กับกฎหมาย ข้อบังคับต่างๆ เช่น I have to wear a mask before going out.
6. การใช้ affect / effect
- affect (กระทบ) เป็นคำกริยา เช่น It won't affect them.
- effect (ผลกระทบ) เป็นคำนาม เช่น The overall effect was surprising.
7. การใช้ fewer / less
- fewer (น้อยกว่า) ใช้กับสิ่งที่นับได้ เช่น The location is big and there are fewer plants.
- less (น้อยกว่า) ใช้กับสิ่งที่นับไม่ได้ เช่น It might make him feel less threatened.
8. การใช้ then / than
- then (ต่อมา/ดังนั้น) มักใช้เชื่อมประโยคและขยายเวลา/สถานที่ เช่น If you can translate it then after that it isn't so difficult.
- than ใช้ในการเปรียบเทียบขั้นกว่า เช่น We had less snow this winter than last.
